Uncle Gavin, it's been a long time since we talked. Memories go so far back - Christmases at Nana & Pop's, biking out to see you all at Avonhead, singing in the RCMS...... I guess as a family we drifted apart over time for a whole variety of reasons. Sad in many ways, but that's life. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone as they remember someone who had a very full life.
Richard.

Good memories of the hours that Gavin gave assisting us with the 'Old Girls' Garden' at the Avonside Drive site together with other husbands. Their strength was greatly appreciated. Our thoughts are with you Alison.

Thinking of you all at this time. Wonderful memories of our times in Royal Christchurch Musical Society and Christchurch City Choir. Gavin had a superb voice and was such an amazing man himself. Hard to believe he was 94. There will be a great choir among the stars with all the choir members and conductors gone before you.
