My sincere condolences to you Sharron and your family. I remember the many times when we were on a Rolls Royce car rallies and the time last year when we visited Gavin and Sharron at their home. Gavin was always very helpful with information about my Rolls Royce and I will always remember his smile. I have just returned from a holiday in Japan to hear the sad news I am sorry I wasn't here for the memorial service. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Gavin.

So sorry to here of Gavins passing. Gavin was my neighbour across the road when I was growing up. We had a lot of fun together and later in life and we both really enjoyed cars, especially single seater. God has got another wonderful person to look after . Simon

Sending condolences from Australia to the Bain Family on the passing of Gavin. I was a former employee of D.M. Bain & Sons, a wet behind the ears teenager starting out my admin career in the 1980's. Gavin was a fantastic boss and gave me a wonderful send off when I left to move to Australia. Fond memories.

From the family of the late Jim & Dympna Sullivan of Otaio (VCC) Our heartfelt condolences to Gavin's family on the loss of your beloved. Gavin was a special part of our lives and we enjoyed his wonderful company on many occasions, especially around the motoring of vintage Bentley's. He was so supportive when father passed at the young age of 63 - he was a great comfort to us all, Gavin has left memories and his fingerprints on many amazing projects, he will be missed, however the world is better because he passed through. The Bentley Boys NZ crew is getting a larger heavenly team with this new member. Rest in peace kind sir.

With sincere condolences to the Bain family. I met Gavin through my late father, Dennis Taylor, and have fond memories of dad dealing with him at Fazzazz. Dad always spoke highly of Gavin and had a great deal of respect for him.

It was with sadness that the Auto Restorations family learnt of the passing of Gavin Bain, one of our founding directors. Gavin was an avid enthusiast, who through his passion helped form our business. He will be sadly missed among our team.
