A son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a friend. My friend, my soulmate, sadly passed in my arms at home yesterday, after a short strong fight with Oesophageal Cancer.
Gary, you were infectious, with a smile that lit up your entire face, "an accent to die for", a heart so gentle and generous and a mind and work ethic that was always in motion.
You overcame difficult obstacles in your life and were, as you'd say, "A work in progress."
You have left a large gap in the hearts of many and especially in our home. I will miss your history knowledge, your encouragements, our outings, your backyard antics, and your love.
You were one of a kind and undoubtedly the best salesman and cyclist I've encountered. I'm so very happy we met and had fifteen years together. You will live on in all our memories.
Thank you and bless you for all you've given me and left behind. I'm so devastated ... my heart is breaking at your absence. I will love you forever!
RIP my dearest friend. I will hold your hand always. Peace be with you in the arms of our Lord! God bless you my friend, “I will see you just now!
