Gary NICHOLS Obituary

(formerly Christchurch) Died peacefully in Richmond, Nelson, on August 28, 2024, aged 83. Loved son of the late Val and Lloyd Nichols. Loved partner of Janette for 40 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Jeremy and Victoria (Duvauchelles), and Rebecca and Brendan Marabell (Sydney). Loved stepfather to Michele Richardson, Karen Ayson, David Laredo. Beloved brother to Leslie Archibald (Auckland), Lynette Banks (Christchurch). Special thanks to Katherine Brooks and staff at Oakwoods Rest Home, Richmond, for their care of Gary. Messages c/- PO Box 7103, Nelson 7040. According to Gary's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

Hi Janette, Leslie, Lynette & family, I'm so sorry & sad to hear of Gary's passing. I remember through the years going to Auntie Noeline & Uncle Dicks place to catchup with all the Wright's, Nana Wright, all our Auntie's, Uncle's & cousins. It was a lot of fun. The last time we saw Gary was at cousin Zara's )Lexia's daughter) wedding, he needed a lift to go somewhere, so my husband David &I dropped him off, he really appreciated it Thinking of you all.
