Passed peacefully at home, aged 83 years young, with his family around him. Loved husband of Claire, father of Stephen, Robyn, Rachel and William. Father-in-law to Rose, Karen, Derek and John. Grandfather to Sean, Holly, Myles, Grace and Hanna, Kate and Semi, Charlotte and Anna, Emma and Tom, Seb and Ailbe. Great-grandfather to Harry and Ava, Eli and Elise. Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes and support. In lieu of flowers donations to Autism NZ would be appreciated and can be made online at bit.ly/gplennon0204 Messages may be addressed to the Lennon family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Requiem Mass for Gary will be Celebrated at St Bede's College, 210 Main North Rd, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Friday), at 1.00pm. A Rosary will be held at St Bede's College Chapel, This Day (Thursday), at 7.00pm.

Gary came to us in Ireland to show us we had family in New Zealand, I am forever grateful he did so as he introduced us to himself and Claire and the whole family, We shared some great visits from NZ and to NZ and he hosted us with Claire in waves over the years. I am sad to have lost him but i am very glad to have met him and having lost my own father so recently and he and Dad got on so well I am sure heaven is hosting a fine chat and a pint.

My sincere condolences to the family on Gary's passing. He had a huge impact on me & many other lads who passed thru the college. Fond memories of a firm but fair man. The term Ranks & room 14 forever etched in my memory. God Bless you Gary rest easy. Job well done.
