Gary BURROWS Obituary
On August 12, 2020, suddenly at Christchurch Hospital, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Pam, much loved father and father-in-law of Chris, Linda, Joanne and Antony, loved stepfather of Michelle and Mark, loved grandfather of Amy, and Sophie; Danielle, Sarah, and Rebecca; Bradley, Stephanie, Jonathan, and Victoria; and great-grandfather of Harrison, and Isabella. Good friend of Jill, and loved brother of Max (deceased), Trevor, and John. Messages may be addressed to: The Family of the late Gary Burrows, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Due to Covid restrictions, a Private Service will be held.

Im sad to learn of Garry´s passing. I worked with Gary on a couple of occasions including the last 8 years when we both retired from AirNZ. We had lots of laughs and I´ll never forget his larger than life personality! He was liked by all who crossed his path. I am greatful to have known him and he supported me in my work for which he will never be forgotten.

My condolences to the family of Gary,I worked in the same workshop as Gary for over 25 yrs. He was a well respected lead hand, Buck as he was known in our workshop a good sports person, Hockey,cricket,badminton,volleyball,etc to name a few will be sadly missed RIP Gary.

Uncle Gary, memories of sitting around the kitchen table, 9 Highstead Road, Grandma's whitebait fritters accompanied with her delicious homemade sauce. You boys, Grandad and Grandma always having a good ole chin wag whilst enjoying the lunchtime meal. I loved being amongst it.
