TE HUIA, Garry Ranui:
Passed away on April 17, 2021 at Christchurch Hospital; aged 82. Dearly loved son of the late Karaka Paiaka and Maata Majorie Te Huia. Sparring partner of Kay for 49 years. Loved father of Philip, Steven, Cory, and father-in-law of Valarie and Mel. Loved Grandad of Ruby, Leo, Nick and Renee, Alex, Josh, and Hope, and great-grandad of Lily. Much loved brother of Joyce, Lawrence, Tokowha, Alison, Debbie and Ngarie, and the late Moana, Ngaire, Gloria, Lewis, George, Steven, Maria and William. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
