Dearly loved soulmate and loving husband of Jenny, loving father and father-in-law of Paul, Glenn and Teena, Cindy, Jacqui and Simon, and Sam, best mate of Patches, loving grandfather of Caari, Ben, Ella, Petra, Max, Jake, and Luca, loving eldest son of the late Max and Patricia Smith, loved son-in-law of the late Chung Chee and Ching Ngor Yung, friend of Jan, and a dearly loved family member. A Memorial Service to celebrate Garry's life will be held in St Patrick's Catholic Church, High Street, Greymouth, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1.00pm. Following the service, Garry's ashes will be interred with his parents at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.
