I was saddened to hear of Gabrielles passing and understand what a gap she will leave in the family.Gabrielle worked with us at Fairlie Primary and quickly became a cherished colleague with her marvelous wit and sense of humor. No wonder she was such a sought after reliever and teacher.Abgroup of us came and stayed with her in Ashburton 5 years ago.I don't think we got much sleep being held spellbound with her reminiscing and excitement about an upcoming overseas trip. Plus a new tattoo! WUat a lady! What a joy to have known her.

May she rest in peace.

A lovely lady who was always so kind to us as we grew up in Fairlie. I was delighted to meet her again at St Joseph's Ashburton in my work. An engaging and talented teacher with a huge personality. RIP. Take care everyone. Cushla O'Connor
