Gabrielle MORRISON Obituary
Sr Catherine died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, on January 2, 2025 in the 61st year of her Religious Profession, aged 92 years. Loved and respected member of the Little Company of Mary, loved daughter of the late Brendan and Ursula Morrison, and sister of Julie Bennets, Pat Morrison and Ursula Conaghan (all deceased), and loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Sincere gratitude to Shona Lowson, Ambulance and Christchurch Hospital staff for their compassionate care. A Requiem Mass for Sr Catherine will be celebrated at Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Brougham Street, on Wednesday, January 8 at 1.00pm, followed by interment in Avonhead Memorial Cemetery, Hawthornden Road. I am so sorry that I was unaware of Sister Catherine'd death and have only caught up. "Gay" was a lovely, caring person and very attentive to my wife Barbara in distressing times. I am sure Gay will have a reserved place awaiting her after all her dedication to others. God bless you, Gay.

I remember Sister Catherine very well from working closely together for many years at Calvary Hospital in Wellington. My condolences to her family. Remembered with love and laughter.
