(Fred):
Passed away peacefully in Christchurch, with his family present, on September 25, 2022, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Val. Loved brother-in-law of Beryl. Much loved 'Fred' to Lyndsay, Heather and Ian, Jeanette, Wendy and Martin; and to their families. Loved son of the late Dries and Eva De Rooy (Oegstgeest), and fondly remembered by all his large extended family in Holland. In line with Fred's wishes, his body has been donated to the University of Otago Medical School and no funeral service will take place.
