WHITELING,
Frederick (Fred):
On August 21, 2017, passed away unexpectedly, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Enid, much loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Linda, Mark and Vivien, and Sara Scott and Tony, loved grandfather of Toni, Krista, and Jennifer; Courtenay, and Aston.
"Take care of each other, and keep smiling".
Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Fred Whiteling, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Canterbury Foundation (NZ) would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A Service to celebrate Fred's life will be held in the Christchurch Crematorium Chapel, 65 Vickerys Road, Wigram, Tomorrow (Friday), at 2.00pm.

Dear Enid, I Have just read of Fred's death and am shattered. He was a great guy and I just loved choir practice with his cheery presence and truly funny jokes. Four years since we left Ch.C., but the earlier choir days remain one of my happiest memories. I am so very sorry for your loss and offer deep and sincere sympathy. May we offer prayers for your consolation and peace?
