Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Dearly loved and loving husband of Lesley (Ginna), father to Jenny, and Liz, father-in-law to Roger and the late David. Pop to Sarah, Emma, Rebekah, and Mitchell. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Fred Hoffmann, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Private family funeral for Fred will be held.

Sorry to hear of Fred´s passing. I´ve fond memories of Fred from my days growing up in Hanmer. He taught me at High School as well as driving me on the school bus. Thinking of all the family. Regards from Perry Ingram

Fred was one of the nicest people I ever knew.
As a joke once Fred put a brick in my shopping bag and I carried it around for about 6 months!!
