Frank OVEREND Obituary
On December 1, 2021, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Angela, much loved father of Paul, Daniel, and the late Matthew, loved father-in-law of Karen, Claire, and Nic, adored grandad of Jack, and Harry; Neve, and Libby; and Fynn.

Special thanks to all the amazing staff at Christchurch Hospital for the wonderful care and support given to Frank. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Frank Overend, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. A Service to Celebrate Frank's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, December 10, at 10.30am, thereafter private cremation. At the family's request Vaccine Passes will be required.

I really enjoyed the chats and friendship that resulted from working with Frank on the school van transport at CCR. We had a lot of similar experiences and interests. He will be missed. My thoughts are with the family at this time.

I saw a stick insect today and instantly took me back to when Uncle Frank had a family of stick insects at a house they had. They had names and personalities. He bought the stories to life, full of laughs. Will miss your jokes and smile. Rest easy Uncle Frank, know you are loved and we are here for your loved ones left behind.
