Francis ROBERTS Obituary

On Friday, April 10, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital; aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lorraine, much loved father and father-in-law of Nikki and Dave Colenso, Kate and Wayne Busson, and the late Deb, loved grandad of Jane, Amy; Ben and Ella, great-grandad of Frankie and Eugene, dearly loved uncle of Maree and Rhys. Messages to the Roberts family, c/o PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Celebration of Grant's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Tuesday, April 21, at 1.00pm.

We Fosters have wonderful memories of the good times at The Boyle in the 70´s and 80´s.
Lots of laughs and yarns with Grant and Lorraine around the fire pot. Flagons, sherry and cask wine abound.
Grant was also quite an accomplished sailor and we enjoyed his stories of the high seas.
