We were very saddened and surprised with Frank's passing and our thoughts are with his whanau at this time.
Frank would venture south and join us in Karitane for a weekend of music, long stories and a smidgen of alcohol consumption. He was a wonderful musician and a great person. Though not as loud as some of the others in the group, when he spoke we would all listen.

Franky - the ever-solid timekeeper, always made it easy for any bass player to slot in and follow. Dad's community of muso mates during the '80s/'90s created a wonderful period in our lives, and Franky's playing abilities, precision and calm demeanor always made him the auto choice for any show created. A friend to all with no barriers, he brought joy and warmth to everyone he met, always offering his help and support when needed.

We are thinking of his whanau, especially Jase, Tash, Mel, and Brogan, during this difficult time. May you find comfort and strength in each other and in the memories of the wonderful person Franky was.

Very fond memories of working with Frank back in the 90s at DOL/NZES. Much fun & laughter with that cheeky grin. A legend on the drums and vocals - many a great night at the Woolston Club. Fly high matey. R.I.P

So sad to hear of Franks sudden passing, I met Frank at Ritchies, he was a lovely man, easy to talk to and a great work mate. My deepest condolences to his family.

My heart is saddened by the sudden & tragic loss of such a gentle, kind & talented man. Truly one of the nicest human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I will miss you greatly my friend. My sincere condolences to the family.

Thank you, Frank, for being such an amazing friend when I first came over to Go Bus from Red Bus 4 years ago, you made me so welcome and we had such wonderful conversations together, it was a sad time when you left to drive at Ritche's, but we understood you had to do what was best for you. Fly free my friend and carry on making that beautiful music that you make so well while driving that bus that you drive so beautifully, always loved and remembered. Condolences to the family. Sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Did a lot of work for the rugby club, committee member, junior club captain, founder and patron of the Golden Oldies Blue Bullets rugby team. A genuine all round top fella. Rest in peace.

Frank to a guy absolutely dedicated to his music. His family obviously together and alongside fellow musos in the CHCH/Canterbury region a gentleman of music this guy was a great musician a drummer of class style Frank you will be sadly missed by many and all who crossed your path and worked in the band scene alongside you Frank you were an impeccable and class drummer with exceptional talent with the sticks and brushes you my friend I have no doubt the guys who worked alongside of you will be tragicly saddened real saddened as sad as sad can ever get to lose a n extremely talented musician and drummer tragic tragic tragic a fantastic guy to speak with very very talented sadly will he be missed to his family my sincerest condolences to all an incredible musiciañ/drummer taken way way way too soon.
