Francis GIFKINS Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on March 7, 2026, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret for 61 years. Loved father of the late Stuart, and Vicki. Loved Pop of Kai and Sam, Nina, Nissa and Brett. Loved great-Pop of Olaf and Freyja, Emily and Phoenix, and Elijah. Messages to the Gifkins family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John would be much appreciated and may be left at the service. A special thank you to Dr Sue, and Natahna for their special care of Eddie. In keeping with Eddie's wishes, a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Eddie's life will be held in Our Chapel, cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton on Saturday, March 14, commencing at 11.00am.
