FLORINDA THEODORE With sadness we announce the passing of Florinda on November 23, 2013 at the age of 90. Born on June 4, 1923 in Alberona, Italy, daughter of Emanuele Finoia and Rosa Panzano. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl (November 25, 1994). Florinda leaves behind her beloved children Carla (Donald Vandewater), Robert, John (Georgette), Michael (Charlene Mueller) and Lisa. Forever remembered in the hearts of her grandchildren Vanessa (Shane), Sarah (Mark), James, Abraham, Madeleine, Mikaila (fiancé Jiun), Deanna, Andrea, Katy and Michael. A proud great-grandmother to Thea, Rachel, Nathan, Milo and Max. Our family would especially like to thank the CCAC and First Class Home Care. Visitation will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Florinda can be made to a charity of your choice.

Florinda was a super person. I enjoyed playing bridge with her while living on Sparta Rd and visiting their cottage on Lake Simcoe. Our deepest symphathy to the children.
