Fay JESSETT Obituary
(nee Butterfield):
Passed peacefully away on January 26, 2022, at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Stanley. Cherished mother and mother- in-law of Peter and Lynda (Chch), Margaret and the late David Osborne (Kaikohe). Adored Nana and (Gran) of Andrew and Sharee (Everley) (Whangarei); Carina and Esti (Ashley, Adam and Sophie) (Dunedin); Alex and Hayley (Cody, Taylah, Ellie and Charlee) (Kerikeri). Daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Butterfield, sister and sister-in-law of the late Noreen and Alf Fergus, Len and Molly, Cliff and Betty, Dorothy and Dick Woodward.
Our Mother kept a garden, a garden of her heart,
She planted all the good things that gave our life its start.
Her constant good example taught us right from wrong,
Markers for our pathways to last our whole life long.
Eternal life does not begin in death,
It begins with Family.
Thank you to the wonderful caring staff at Ultimate Care Bishop Selwyn. Mum's wish was for no funeral service. Mum's ashes will join Dad's at a later date in Sydenham Cemetery. Messages may be addressed to 'The Jessett Family', C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013.

Fay. Thank you for being such a wonderfully warm person. Cleaning your room was always a pleasure and getting to hear stories from your life was a really special moment for me. Over the years I enjoyed getting to chat with your family and will miss you and your family immensely. Now your out of pain and free again. Lots of love to your family at this time.

Our devoted Auntie Fay passed away on January 26, 2022, and she will be so very sadly missed by her niece Colleen Cole and nephew Russ Fergus, his wife Phyl, and their families. Her passing leaves a great gap in our lives but she is now free of pain and has gone to join her husband Stan.
