Faitui FARANI Obituary

Born in Samoa on May 21, 1959. Peacefully passed away in his sleep, in Christchurch, on October 25, 2025, aged 66. Beloved son of Tofoi Pupu Ulalei Letele Ma'a'ana Tala and Maugagaoa Uili Farani. Loved brother of Poima, Sifani, Bill, Peneueta and Maria. Cherished uncle of many. Pool fanatic and regular at the Christchurch Working Men's Clubs. A true music lover, remembered for his kindness, laughter, and simple, happy-go-lucky demeanour. Private arrangements have been made for Tui's cremation, after which his ashes will be returned home to Samoa for his funeral, where he will be laid to rest among his family and ancestors.
