Dorothy COOMBES Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the grand age of 101 years. Loved wife of the late Maurice, proud mother of Jenny, Ross, and Ian, grandmother of Katrina Menzies, Vanessa Stowers, and Christopher Whall; Craig, Karl, and Matthew Coombes, and Ben, and Tim Coombes, and a great-grandmother of thirteen. We will miss her sharp wit, and incredible memory. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Dot Coombes, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A celebration of Dot's life will be held at AvonPark, corner of Pages and Kerrs Roads, Linwood, on Friday, October 31, at 10.30am. At Dot's request, colour to be worn.

I had this pop up on my pc and feel i should offer my condolences. I did not know Dot Coombes, i assume this has come up as my mums name was Dot (Dorothy) Coombes. What a wonderful age to reach 101, she sounds like a remarkable lady with a wonderful family.
I just couldn't ignore this you understand. God bless.
