Evelyn SCHWASS Obituary
Gary, Lynette and John, Harry and Louis, Elise, Tuscany and Coco would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support and love following the loss of their beloved Nan, Ev to her friends and Aunty Evie to her many nieces and nephews. Ev's values always embraced welcoming everyone who came to her home, or into her life and her special qualities included humility, kindness and courage. Her large whanau travelled from throughout New Zealand and Australia demonstrating the esteem in which she was held and collectively they sang waiata that embraced her Whanganui roots and gentle spirit. Ev was deeply loved, her loss has been enormous for the family and the flowers, food, cards and visits have meant the world. With such overwhelming support from so many we cannot mention you all but we would like to say a special, special thanks to our Whanganui whanau who bought Ev's river roots to her tangi and to Tim, Liz and Laurie for the daily tasks to help feed and comfort all those that gathered. To Frankie Stevens for singing, Nicola and Phil for daily help and tikanga, and the team at Harcourts Gold whose love and kindness was deeply valued. Also, Aunty Joyce for unconditional love throughout the years.
We are extremely grateful to you all and we'd like to offer our enduring thanks to everyone.
