Ronald Steven Stritmatter, of Mount Clemens Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 13, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on July 11, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan.
Son of the late Leroy Charles Stritmatter and the late Sara Grace (Field) Stritmatter.
Loving father of Christian (Lorie) Stritmatter, Marie (Ronald) Broihan and Matthew Stritmatter.
Beloved Grandfather of Joshua Stritmatter, Hannah Carlson, Benjamin Stritmatter, Jack Latsko-Stritmatter, Grant (Jacqueline) Broihan, Blake Broihan, Grace (Devin) Deaton, Erika Stritmatter, Seth Stritmatter, and Owen Stritmatter.
Great Grandfather to Olivia, Landon, Nova, Ronin, Delyla, Jameson, Emmett, Melody, Knight & Kane.
Dear Brother of Nancy (the late Wayne) Schmitt, Diana StOnge, Jacqueline Hynes and the late James Stritmatter.
Ron grew up in Berkley, Michigan and graduated from Berkley High School in 1961. He attended the University of Wyoming as well as Macomb Community College which led to a career as a Tool & Die Maker, eventually retiring from Williams International where he was respected for his hard work, dedication, and skill.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his love and example will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
A private celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.
