Moved on peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, surrounded by family in her 98th year. Devoted wife of the late Cyril, loved sister of Margaret, and the late Lawrence, loved and respected Mum of Karen, Lois and Paul (deceased), Leslie and Joanne. Cherished grandma to Emma and Anthony, Amanda and Nick, and Kieran and Jazzi, and great-grandma to Lacey, and Fletcher, loved aunty of Rod and Donna, Jacqui and Andrew. A special thank you to the Nurse Maude Home Care team for the love and care they have shown to Evelyn. A service to celebrate Evelyn's life will be held at South West Baptist Church, 244 Lyttelton Street, Spreydon, Christchurch, on Tuesday, February 17, at 11.00am.
