Evan SHERRARD Obituary
Evan died peacefully after a long and good life, surrounded by his family on October 21, 2015. Evan was greatly loved by Isabelle, Susan and Pete, Michael and Cate, and loving Pa to Oscar and Molly. Evan's extended family, includes Monica, Janet and Malcolm and their families. A celebration of Evan's life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, 1.00pm, at the Community of Saint Luke, 130 Remuera Rd, Auckland. In lieu of flowers, donations to

Just read about my first Supervisor of Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. USA.
He was a great person and I learned so much from him. I am still very grateful. I became a CPR Supervisor myself and worked at many major medical centers in the USA and later in Hamburg, Germany.
I am now retired and live at 82 years old in Switzerland.

We were so close as students in 1960. With the Davidson's help we met often in Auckland. Last year we got closer again. I have lost a brother, the church a leader of souls, the wider society a very wise counsellor, all of us a rare and precious friend.

Many blessings to Isabelle and Evan's family. Evan's presence, wisdom and love within the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists will remain in many hearts and minds. His perceptive guidance and acknowledgment of the importance of attending to spirit has affected many of us over the years.
