On December 22, 2025, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 85 years. Adored husband of Ngaire. Treasured father and father-in-law of Lynne, Mark and Melanie, and Alan and Rachael. Proud Grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchild. Messages to the Kingsbury family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A service to celebrate Errol's life will be held in Our Chapel, cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton, on Saturday, December 27, commencing at 10.00am, followed by interment at the Ashburton Seafield Lawn Cemetery. Farewell to a wonderful historian and a great Thames Valley Swamp Fox supporter, Errol received my latest

I am so sorry to hear of Errols passing, he was such a character, I had a lot to do with him at Coromandel FM when he was doing his cross overs live on air with the rugby and also socially at the Thames Rugby and Sports Club, Condolences to all the Family, Rest in peace Errol.
