I have so many wonderful memories of Bill as my boss at Paparua to a dear friend and confidant over the years. So sorry I never got to visit before your passing but you will always be in my thoughts until my time comes. My deepest sympathy to Wendy, Brett, Dayle and Megan. RIL my dearest friend Bill xxxxx

My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. He was a lovely man, I worked with him at CCC many years ago. He generously allowed me and my family to stay in his Broughton Bay holiday home - we have wonderful memories. RIP Bill.

I always thank God for Bill, Wendy, Brett, Mark, Dayle and Megan. Bill and his wonderful family opened their home and hearts to me, a 17 year old AFS student from California from 1980-1981. What an incredible blessing to be welcomed into this fun, active, pet-filled, loving family. I was instantly accepted as part of the family. Bill became my NZ Dad...a godsend to me after my own dad had died suddenly when I was eleven.

Dearest Bill, a tall totara has fallen. One of the most open and honest, friendly and welcoming people I have had the pleasure to have met. Deepest sympathy to Wendy, also such a welcoming and lovely lady. A dear friend who will be missed by many.... Thanks for all the chats and laughs.
