DAWRANT, Erna:
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, October 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of Allan, much cherished mother of Robyn, Philip, and Karen, treasured grandma of Harry, Victoria, Annabelle, and Madeleine, loved daughter of the late Leen and Ali den Boer, sister of Leo and Bert, and adored by her wider family and friends. The family thanks the staff of Ward B6 at Christchurch Hospital and Nurse Maude Hospice for the compassionate care provided. In memory of Erna, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Erna Dawrant, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Due to current restrictions on large gatherings, a private service will be held with invitations personally extended by the family.

To the family of Erna, deepest sympathy. Erna was loved by all the girls whilst she was a leader for Girl Guides and I personally have great memories of our time together as a leader.

Erna (nee den Boer):
Passed away on October 3, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Very much loved sister, sister-in-law and aunty to Bert, Julie, Scott, Troy, Ryan and Cody den Boer, and a very much loved friend to Jonnie, Laura, Noah, Leo and Harper Maguire, and Deb and Pete Brown and family, also Carl, Emma and Lisa Tregurtha.
Erna, you meant so much to us all in every single way, you will be remembered with love forever and a day.
