I knew Wayne through our mutual love of music and in particular his time with the Louis And the Hot Sticks as Al and Helen were mutual friends. I knew he had been unwell but I had a delightful conversation with him after GOOFS late last year. We have lost another titan of the Seventies prog rock culture....

To Diane and family . Just heard this minute. Really saddened .such a great guy& fellow muso .sadly missed by many . Kind and cool positive and warm .Wayne cared for others and deeply for his family.
So enjoyed working musically with Wayne .I think all musos would feel the same .

So sorry to hear of Wayne´s passing. He was such a great guy and I always enjoyed any time spent with Wayne. Lots of great laughs and memories. Thoughts are with you all at this extremely difficult time.

Wayne, it was an honour to have known you all these years through out mutual love of education. You always put people first whether its your family, work colleagues or anyone who you met. A top guy who will be missed. Until we meet again rest peacefully in between a few cover songs I suspect!

With a tear in my eye I was shocked to learn of Wayne's passing.

A great colleague, talented musician and good friend. I have many fond memories of shared travel, laughter and fun from so many years ago.

A wonderful man, respected and loved by so many.

To Wayne´s family, colleagues and close friends. I am sad to read of Wayne´s passing. He was one of those kids at school who was very likeable and well thought of. And his music persuits along with sharing his talent for others to enjoy is a tribute to him. Sincere condolences to all who are mourning.
