COCHRANE, Eric Thomas:
Passed away peacefully at the Timaru Hospital on Monday, October 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, aged 94. Cherished husband and friend of Joyce, and the late Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Judith and Graeme, Anne and Barry, and Heather. Loved stepfather of Jane and Alan. Loved by all his grand and great-grandchildren, and loved brother of the late Noel. In keeping with Eric's wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages to 14 Poplar St, Gleniti, Timaru 7910.

Met Eric 12 years ago while researching the WWII Gun Emplacements at Smithfield. Very pleasant man and I regret not contacting him again. Deepest sympathy.
