I remember Enid vividly as Charge Nurse of Ward 26 when I was a student nurse. She certainly made sure I knew how to make beds properly. I then had the privilege of having her caring support when I became a charge nurse at Christchurch Hospital. Many years later I again had the privilege of working alongside her at Palm Grove. An incredible nurse who touched the hearts and lives of many. My condolences to her family.

Enid wasn´t actually our relative but I used to forget that, as she was always our Auntie Enid. Growing up she would always arrive with a $10 or $20 note for any child. Generous, humble and never wanting to make a fuss. I used to love the crazy text messages and chatting about the farm and our lambs, and the joy she´d get sharing tales from her family. Right up to the end she could make you laugh. We´d have tears in our eyes from laughter after a visit. We will all miss you so very much, rest in peace with your darling Ken x

We both work with Enid at Palm Grove and she was the nicest human being we ever work with, she was not just our colleague but our friend whom we can share our ups and downs.

Enid was the charge nurse of Koru wing at Palm Grove when I first started in 2015. She was a lovely Nurse and cared about her staff. Always welcoming to new employees. Stood up for others. Will be missed.
