Emily HORGAN Obituary
At Oxford, surrounded by her family, aged 100 years. Darling wife of the late Hilary, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Judith, Elizabeth and Sam McSkimming, Barbara and the late Graeme Thompson, Michael and Jennifer, Margaret and Alan Fraser, Nicola and the late David Stokes, and Martin and Briar. Treasured and admired grandmother of Nic and Amy, Emma and Dean, Sophie and Harley, Leslie and Mike, Robert and Anna, Nathan and Olivia, Sally and the late Tony, Sean and Sarah, Kerry and Jess, Sarah and Craig, Tim and Becki, Gerard and Michela, Chris and Sarah, Libby and Blair, Ben and Finley, Katy and Scott, Ella and Morgan, and Alex, Sam and Isabel. Adored Great-Grandma of Oliver, Daniel, Grace, Winston, Lachlan, Chloe, Flynn, Harry, Bobby, Ivy, Billie, Hugo, Toby, Ben , Jack , Leo, Josh, Zoe, Natalie, Stanley, Henry and Wallace. Loved sister of Laurie Mehrtens, and the late Helen Mehrtens, and Don Farr; and sister-in-law of Mim Farr. Nessie was so loved by her extended family and many friends throughout her long life. The love and wisdom she shared will be greatly missed. Thank you to the Oxford Medical Centre, and Karadean Ultimate Care for the kindness and care given to Mum. A private cremation has taken place, and a memorial service for Nessie will be held at the Oxford Working Men's Club on Sunday, November 24, at 2.00pm.

A beautiful lady with an infectious smile and deep love for her family. I loved the stories she shared with me about early school life and the bench seats on the bus. I´m glad she agreed to being a special part of the school jubilee. RIP dear Nessie

Nessie and Hilary used to come into Turners Auction's on a regular basis . A lovely couple and always nice to chat to them . I lost count of how many grandchildren got a car from the auction !
