It has been many years since seeing you & your family, (the days of Akaroa Area School) however, your a person who makes an impact. I remember you as always caring & gentle with a smile for all. Much love to you all.

We only met the once when staying with you all. During that time I could see the very special and kind person you were. Quiet, yet unassuming, friendly & caring. I remember the evenings when you´d laugh at our card game antics or we´d talk about your beloved cat Felix and your work. How lucky they were to have you. And oh how your eyes lit up with that beautiful smile. I shall miss you. Rest in peace Emily, you will always have a special place in my heart . Carla
