Elza Marion STUART

Elza STUART Obituary

Born July 23, 1938 - died August 4, 2025. Wife of the late Owen Stuart. Our Mum died on Monday, and we can't find the recipe for the Christmas Cake anywhere. We knew she would have to have the last laugh. Wendy, Hamish and Linda, Brett and Jane wish to invite Elza's family and friends to a farewell Afternoon Tea at the Glentunnel Hall, on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1.00pm. Elza was loved by many people in her life and especially by her grandchildren, Bryn and Janya Hetrick, Rebecca and Samantha Stuart, and Bonnie and Adele Stuart. A very special thanks must go to the team at St Allisa for the wonderful care Elza received during her time there and the kindness and respect shown to her.

Yesterday

Hi to our childhood "cousins". I often think about those wonderful adventures we shared as kids. Lives intertwined from an early age leave such glorious memories. Your mum was awesome and it was a privilege to share our lives with you all. Anney Collin (Annette Nimmo).

My good memories of Elza:
Family roasts, home baking, picking up walnuts, fun parties and family days, Christmas decorations with more than one tree!!, staying for holidays, going on trips, fun and laughter and my earliest memory - asking her if i could pick some cherries from her tree on my way home from primary school :-) You are now at peace.

I also worked with Elza at Darfield Hospital. She was always full of good cheer and fun. Happy memories. RIP Elza.
