BUCHANAN, Ellis Reed:
On January 31, 2021. It is with much sadness that we announce that Ellis passed away peacefully in his sleep following a short illness. Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth Florence (Betty), and father of Roger; Elizabeth and Graeme Small; adored and proud grandfather and great-grandfather of Matthew and Grace and Abigail; Kate and Matthew; James and Stacey and Charlotte, Lucas, Evie-Rose and Grace; Jonathon and Grace; Anna and Chris; Thomas and Luisa. The family acknowledges the outstanding care of the staff at Ashburton Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Club of Ashburton Plains would be appreciated. A private family cremation will be followed by a Memorial service on Thursday, February 4 at 2.00pm, at the Sinclair Centre, Park St, Ashburton.
