It is with deep sadness that I read a story on Facebook this morning written by Kate Pender. It's a story of Joy & Sadness. Kate writes of life with Ellen as "A quiet word, a hand on your arm, a look of encouragement, a brief text." She had love and kindness in abundance.
I worked with Ellen in Real Estate and later as a business mentor and inspirational friend. She will be sadly missed. Much love to her family at this sad time. Joy

We recently met Ellen on a cruise in the Kimberley. It is not often that you meet someone that you hit it off with fairly quickly without having known them for at least a bit longer. Ellen was full of life and we had many laughs and fun over that short cruise. It was like we had known her for much longer. We are very sad that we will not have the opportunity to laugh with her again. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her children and family at this very sad time.

Ellen was such an amazing women and I am so so sad to hear this news. Last night I was presenting on a panel and I spoke about the very first person who inspired me as a leader and represented everything that was amazing about leadership, then today I can't believe that I hear this news. All my love to family xxx

So sorry to hear Ellen has died, she will live on in my memory as a kind, wise, knowledgeable, thoughtful, fun-loving person who had my greatest respect for her reasoned judgement and sage advice. There was always a twinkle in her eye, there was much that everyone could learn from her about living a good life.
My deepest sympathy for her family.

We recently met Ellen on a cruise in the Kimberley. Ellen was lively, full of fun and participated in everything possible, including dancing the night away. She practiced French intonations regularly and we continue to do so in fond memory of her. Ellen certainly contributed to our enjoyment of the holiday and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family.
