Ellen PENDER Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mum, Ellen on August 16, 2025, aged 73 years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Rachel and Craig Huggins, and Melissa and Grant Segar. Devoted granny to Benjamin, Finn, Jack and Gabrielle. Messages may be addressed to the "Pender family" c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A funeral service for Ellen will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn Christchurch on Friday, August 22, at 1.30pm.

Yesterday

We recently met Ellen on a cruise in the Kimberley. Ellen was lively, full of fun and participated in everything possible, including dancing the night away. She practiced French intonations regularly and we continue to do so in fond memory of her. Ellen certainly contributed to our enjoyment of the holiday and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family.
