Loving sympathy and prayer for all Ellen´s Mercy family, and her extended Duffy family. I only met Ellen during her time at Nazareth and will always remember her gracious positive nature and that warm smile. I always enjoyed listening to stories of her remarkable life. God bless you all and give to Ellen the fullness of Eternal Life.
"I know for certain that we never lose people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."

Ellen was a younger sister of my late Grandfather, Patrick William Duffy. I only met Ellen a handful of times in my life but I was always impressed by what a loving, kind and caring person she was. She was genuinely interested in other people, and really demostrated the fruits of the spirit in all she did. When my first son was born in 2006, she made a special effort to visit our family in the North Island. She was truly a wonderful woman, who really left her mark, and will be greatly missed.
