YOUNG, Elizabeth Ann
(nee Cairns):
(Registered Nurse of 50 years) On December 20, 2018, peacefully at her home in Christchurch. Loved wife of the late Randall Young and the late Edwin Charles Manhire. Dearly loved mother of Michael and Nigel, and mother-in-law of Maribel and Deborah. Loved nana of Sarah, Kate, and Randall. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Lawrie and Koko Cairns, the late Marjorie and Colin Cairns, sister-in-law of the late Jack and Nancy Farmer, the late Keith Young, the late Lindsay and Audrey Young, Kelvin and Colleen Young, and loved aunt of Anne-Marie and Marjorie, Craig and Helen, Anne, Bridget and Wesley, Louise and David, Gregory and Robyn, Clayton and Greta, Dawson and Anna, Mark, and Justine. Loved friend of Rose Easton, Elisa and Heath Davis, Anna Manhire and Peter, and Jacob Manhire. Great-aunt of Mia, Aria, Rebecca, James, Ruby, Lucy, Thomas, Emily, Matthew, and Andrew, and loved sister-in-law of the Manhire families. Donations to the Haematology Department, Leukaemia and Blood Cancer Support Services, would be appreciated and may be made at the Mass. Requiem Mass for Elizabeth will be Celebrated at St Gregorys Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Ave, Bishopdale, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
