Elizabeth Patterson (Liz):
(Formerly of Belfast, Northern Ireland). On Thursday, January 20, 2022, aged 75 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Loved wife of Ken, adored mum of Mark and Kirsty, cherished mother-in-law and grandma. The family wish to give special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Christchurch Hospital. Messages may be addressed to The Family of Liz Thompson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. A celebration of Liz's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 2.00pm. Vaccine passes required.

Hi Kenny. Just a quick note to say how sorry Hilary and I are for your loss of Liz. I had asked Susan just before Christmas how Liz was doing and she seemed quite upbeat, so it was a shock to get a call this morning from Tom. We saw very little of Liz really but we always remember her lovingly from Mart and Meg´s wedding and the fun we had together then, especially on our trip up Mt Taranaki. She was great company for that trip, and the hospitality of you both on that trip and with Sophie and Andy when they were with you has gone down in the family history. We send lots of love to you and the kids and hope that you get through the immediate trauma with the strength of the family around you. Love, Ted and Hil
