Elizabeth SAMPSON Obituary

SAMPSON, Elizabeth (Ann):
Passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved youngest daughter, Becs, in the evening of February 3, 2016. She was a loving mum to Tricia, Nicole, Sarah and Becs; fun mother-in-law to Martin, Andy and Ruby; adoring and dedicated Grandma to Ava, Izzy, Benjamin, Anna-Lisa, Lola and Olive; long-standing, very close friend of Gary, and Barbara; and good friend to her neighbour Pat. Known as 'Grandma' at Amicis, she enjoyed her work immensely and was much loved by colleagues. She will be remembered fondly by her five sisters and brother in Australia. Special thanks to the outstanding staff at Ward 28 of the Christchurch Hospital for their dedicated and compassionate care and support; and to the warm kindly staff at Radius St Helenas Care Centre where Ann was made comfortable for her last days.
