Elizabeth Gladys Mary (nee Craw) RICHARDS

Elizabeth RICHARDS Obituary

Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, aged 95 years. Greatly loved wife of the late Vince, loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Margaret (Christchurch), Lynne and the late Paul Tankard (Queenstown), Tony and Sue (Matamata). Loved Nan of her 10 adoring grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. A service to celebrate Glady's life will be held at the Bluff New Life Church, 154 Gore Street, on Thursday, January 11, at 1.30pm. Livestream Link available www.southernlakesfunerals.co.nz. So Sorry Greg,Lynne and Tony to hear of the passing of your Mum. I have many many memories of her. A true Icon of Bluff who will be missed by so many. I know my wife used to thoroughly enjoy her company at the ladies coffee mornings at the Anchorage.

It was with great sadness I heard of the passing of Glady an iconic Bluff personality always full of energy and always with a beautiful smile. Glady, and her parents before her were friends of our family of many many years and over 3 generations. Many cups of tea were shared together and memories and stories retold of people and days gone bye. Rest in peace beautiful lady you will be forever missed by many. My sincere condolences to all the family at this very sad time.
