MATHIESON,
Elizabeth Kay (Liz):
On January 30, 2016, peacefully at Mayfair Lifecare, aged 64 years. Dearly loved wife of Russell, and loved mother and mother-in-law of Holly and James Barron, and Greer and Shane Weiss. A much loved Nana of Olive, Archie, and Florence; Xanthe, Lachlan, and Riley. Loved sister of Steve and Peter Mulvey, and loved sister-in-law of Jan, Mari, Christine, Kate, Gavan, and Paul, and a loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Special friend of "The Mothers", and work friends Erin, Sandra, and Steph, and pet dog Cilla. Special thanks to all Liz's family and friends, the doctors and nurses and caregivers of Tauranga Hospital, Christchurch Hospital, and Mayfair Lifecare, for their loving support. Messages to the Mathieson family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch, 8013. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A celebration of Liz's life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Tomorrow (Wednesday), at 4.00pm, followed by private cremation.

So sorry for your loss Russell, Holly, Greer and families.
Liz was a very caring and loving friend to Wi and I. She always made us feel welcome, especially when I first arrived here from the UK.
We have lots of very happy memories of Liz accompanied always with laughter.
Rest in peace dear friend you will be sadly missed but always remembered .
