Elizabeth HEARD Obituary

We were sorry to read of Elizabeth´s death in the press David. Sending our love and sympathy.

Although I only met Elizabeth once, she made such an impression on me that I remember the occasion in great detail. She was kind, intelligent made me feel comfortable although it was our first meeting and kindly let David and I reminisce at length about our times in Diamond Harbour when we were holidaying there as boys.
Despite not holidaying with us she carefully managed to include herself into the conversation by enquiring into the events discussed and showing genuine interest in the replies.
That day, the day I met her, I will treasure for ever.
