Elizabeth HAMILTON Obituary
On Monday, June 2, 2025, in Christchurch, peacefully after a short illness, with family at her bedside; aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late David Grenville Hamilton, precious treasured Mum of Roy, Phillip, Rosemary Cantwell, Jennifer, and their partners, Jacqui Henderson, Nicola Manttan and Mark Cantwell, much loved Granny of Leah, Matt, Ryan, George, Hamish; Duncan, Alicia, Sean, Elle; Andrew, Nicole, Emma, Alex, Matt; Amanda, Jessica, and Josh. Special Chocolate Ice-cream Supplier to ten happy great-grandchildren. Messages to the Hamilton family, c/- 29 Nortons Road, Christchurch 8042. At Liz's request, a private cremation has been held. Liz would like everyone who cares to raise a glass or a cup in her memory, at a time that feels right for them

Liz made a huge contribution to the Alzheimer's Society in Christchurch - as a carer, a collector, a committee member and as president. During this time Liz was also a great friend to the staff team and the people she came in contact with through the Society. Liz will be missed by Those of us who valued her friendship still.
