Elizabeth CLEMENTS Obituary

CLEMENTS, Elizabeth Mary - Libby died on the morning of March 31, 2013. Much loved mother to Mike and Ruth, Abby and Richard, grandmother of Niquita, Xavier and Micah, daughter of Barbara and Bob, sister of Catharine, Simon, Matthew, Charlotte, Nicholas, Andrew, Timothy, Sarah, Felicity, Anna, Louisa and Christopher. Our appreciation to Mary Potter Hospice for the superb care they gave Libby. Instead of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Newtown, Wellington, in Libby's name. The funeral service will be held at
St. Andrew's Church on The Terrace, Wellington, on Friday, April 5, at 10.30 a.m., followed by a natural burial at Makara Cemetery. Open to family, friends and co-workers.

Dear Libby

I just got the message that you had passed away...I will miss you

I did not make your funeral in time...and I had not seen you recently. That was my fault for being a bit of a coward about death and dying. But I still remember our intense phone conversation last November when we talked for over an hour about all sorts of things. You were calm and accepting about your fate and I marvelled at your cheerfulness and that you remained interested in other people's lives and engaged and loving. I admired that deeply. I hope when my time comes I will be be inspired by your example.

Wherever you are gone, I hope that you are at peace
