Elizabeth BOOTH Obituary
Passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Graeme for 62 years, loving mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Trudy, Martin and Tracey, Alison and David, and David and Rochelle, and a treasured Grandma and great-grandma to her grandchildren, who all loved her dearly. Many thanks to the staff at Dunedin and Balclutha Hospitals, and Holmdene, for their empathy and the sincere respect shown to Betty while she was in their care.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, October 25, at 1.30pm in Leishman's Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at her service. Messages to 1A Malcolm Terrace, Balclutha 9230.

So very sorry to hear the news of Betty's passing. Our thoughts are with all her family at this sad time. It was nearly 11 years ago our boy who was one travelled with us from Ireland to NZ. Betty being Betty of course gifted a little book to us with a lovely message in it. As a nod to her we have just finished reading the book to our son 'Will' now. He's a nearly 12 now so a bit old for bedtime stories but this was special. Rest in peace Betty x
