Elisabeth FLASCHBERGER Obituary

I have only just found out about Lotte's death after trying to call her and say hello. My mother in law Charlotte Bascik was a very close friend of Lotte's for many many years and Siegfreid and Richard were close also. I had lunch with Lotte and Freda late last year and was told of her illness so am glad she didn't suffer a very long time. Lotte used to visit with Charlotte every week and take her out somewhere for a drive or lunch. I was very happy for their friendship as I lived in Auckland and wasn't there every day. Lotte had a very kind heart and was a very dear friend to the Bascik family.

What a great couple you both were when I lived in Kingrove street. RIP Lotte.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

We were thinking of Lotte & Ziggy on Boxing Day - the BBQ's and of the dogs unaware of her death. I had been at Cashmere View a few weeks earlier and thought I recognised a familiar face as the pre-schoolers at Annabel's gave a concert to the residents. I do not know if it was Lotte. You have been in our thoughts, a lovely neighbour for Erna in Glentunnel and a part of a great couple. May you now rest in peace with Ziggy and your dog too. Julieanne, Jack & Erna Hoetjes
