Passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of Jack, sister of Pat and Maureen (United Kingdom), a much loved aunt, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to The Family of late Eleanor Parish, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Neonatal Trust (Christchurch) would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. A Funeral Service for Eleanor will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, February 19, at 2.00pm.

My thoughts are with the family. Praying for strength and comfort for you all during this time. As I remember you Elenor, a word that comes to mind is elegance. Your smile, you would sit in the pulpits at St Paul's gracefully. I knew your smile meant something and as I think about it now, you usually smiled watching us kids worship or at white Sunday lol. It's probably a representation of how Jesus smiles at his children when he sees and hears us worship. You were no doubt sharing your elegant smile everywhere. The smile that represents God and his love for us. Thank you for always smiling, it's definitely contagious. Enjoy Heaven Elenoa. Alofa atu X

Sorry to hear of the passing of Eleanor. I will always remember her big smile as she sat in the front choir pews for morning services back in our old church building on Cashel St. Thank you for sharing your gifts & talents. Now you are singing with Jesus!
