Elaine RAU Obituary
Elaine Joyce (nee Riordan):
Passed away on March 16, 2022, at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village, aged 85 years. Loved wife of the late Peter. Loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Sue; and Lesley and Jeremy. Cherished nana of Nicola; Matthew, Hamish, and Alice. Elaine was a loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt to the Riordan and the Rau families. Elaine's family wish to thank the staff at Bloomfield Court and Ngaio Marsh for their kindness and care shown to Elaine. Messages to the Rau family, c/- PO Box 35, Rangiora 7440. A memorial service for Elaine will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane (off Northbrook Road), Rangiora, on Monday, March 28, at 11.00am.

All our love, prayers and thoughts for all of the Rau family. Elaine was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour, I remember many of Elaine's visits to Wellington and the fun Taylor and Laura had with Nik and Nik's awesome Nana.
I hope you can smile with remembering all of the wonderful things in Elaine's life.

I really enjoyed our conversations together whilst she was waiting at the garage for her WOFs and then to pick her up for Darnley was a real pleasure.
